This Naturopathic Emotional Release training is a private event arranged and hosted by Karlie McKeand.
Our contract
By booking with Karlie McKeand, you are deemed to have read and understood the Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions. Your booking will be accepted by Karlie on this basis.
Deposit requirement
You are required to pay a non-refundable* deposit of $440 per person. Please do not pay your deposit until you have received confirmation that a place on this training experience is available.
Final payments
Payment of the balance is due no later than 15th November 2019. If the balance is not paid on or before the due date, Karlie reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled. If a payment plan has been organised, you agree to regularly pay the agreed amount across the agreed time.
Your details
In order for Karlie to confirm your travel arrangements you must provide all requested details as indicated on the Booking Form along with your deposit payment, but not later than with the balance of the training price. Other necessary details include full name as per passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to complete your travel arrangements.
Cancellation by the attendee
If you cancel your place in the training experience, cancellation fees will apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation.
If you cancel: $440 deposit will be kept for admin and handling. If you have made other instalments and you cancel before 1st September 2019, you will receive a full refund of your instalments, except the $440 deposit as stated above.
No refunds will be accepted after 1st October 2019 however you may transfer your position if the transferee meets all the requirements in relation to the trip.
If you decide to leave the training early for any reason after it has commenced, Karlie is not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a tour, commence it late or leave early, no refund will be made. The above fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by accommodation providers, travel agents or third party tour and transport operator fees.
Cancellation by Karlie
Karlie reserves the right to cancel the training at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, acts of God, political instability or other external events, it is not viable for Karlie to operate the planned itinerary. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside Karlie’s reasonable control refunds will be less any recoverable costs. Karlie is not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
Booking amendments
If you wish to transfer your booking to a third party you must notify Karlie before 1st November, 2019. A fee of $100 per person per change will apply (in addition to any charges levied by hotels or ground operators). If you notify Karlie less than 60 days prior to the proposed departure date the refund policy applicable to cancellations will apply. Transfers to a third party are only permitted where the transferee meets all the requirements in relation to the trip.
Inclusions
The price of the training experience includes:
– all workshops, training and activities organised by Karlie McKeand
– Naturopathic Emotional Release training and NER training manual
– 3 night’s accommodation (21st – 23rd November 2019) at Komune Resort, Bali
– All meals included, plus fresh juices and kombucha (not alcoholic beverages)
– 1 x Balinese massage at the Komune Day Spa
Activities not outlined in the itinerary are at your own expense and undertaken at your own risk.
If you choose not to participate in any of the included activities above, the cost of those activities will not be refunded. If you choose to undertake additional activities, the cost is at your expense.
Exclusions
The price of the retreat does not include:
– meals and drinks other than those specified above
– services not mentioned in training experience details
– late check out or early check in at resort
– additional nights’ accommodation
– optional activities
– personal expenses
– flights, travel insurance and transfers
Authority on Retreat
This immersion is run by Karlie McKeand. The decision of the host is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well being of any person participating in the event. If you fail to comply with a decision made by the host, or interfere with the wellbeing or mobility of the group, the host may direct you to leave the retreat immediately, with no right of refund.
Acceptance of risk
You acknowledge that the nature of travel is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You may be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present dangers and physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. However, it is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks attendant upon such travel.
Limitation of liability
Karlie McKeand contracts with a network of companies, government agencies and individuals to assist in the running of this training as agent for these third parties. Karlie is not responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
– any liability for any loss, death, injury or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or arising out of your participation in the training, or any breach of the booking conditions, is excluded;
– you release Karlie and her officers, employees, agents and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against Karlie arising out of or in connection with your participation in the training; and
– any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these booking conditions (Implied Warranty), is excluded.
To the extent an Implied Warranty cannot be excluded, Karlie’s liability in respect of the Implied Warranty is limited to (in Karlie’s absolute discretion): (i) the provision of a similar training to an equivalent value; or (ii) a refund of the total amount received by Karlie from you in connection with your booking. Any claim by you is excluded to the extent that it is for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or economic loss, however it arises, or for indirect, special, punitive or exemplary damages.
Optional activities
Optional activities not included in the training price do not form part of the training or this contract. You accept that any assistance given by Karlie McKeand or local representatives in arranging optional activities does not render Karlie liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and the activity provider.
Claims & complaints
If you have a complaint about your trip please inform Karlie McKeand at the time in order that she can attempt to rectify the matter. If satisfaction is not reached through these means then any further complaint should be put in writing to Karlie within 30 days of the end of the retreat.
Severability
In the event that any term or condition contained in these Booking Conditions is unenforceable or void by operation of law, or as being against public policy or for any other reason than such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from this contract or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding.
Photos and marketing
Unless you specify otherwise, acceptance of these Booking Conditions means you consent to Karlie using images of you taken during the retreat for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium Karlie chooses. You grant Karlie a perpetual, royalty-free worldwide, irrevocable license to use such for publicity and promotional purposes.
Privacy Policy
Your email address may be used for any purpose associated with the operation of the training or to send you marketing material in relation to Karlie’s events, special offers and subsequent tours. All personal details you provide (passport scans, notice of medical conditions, medications, etc) will be retained securely for the duration of the immersion and destroyed 30 days after the conclusion of the immersion.
Applicable law
The laws of New South Wales, Australia govern these Terms and Conditions to the fullest extent allowable. Any disputes in connection with the training or these Terms and Conditions must be initiated in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
